Officials order safety audit after FAA’s aviation
downgrade |

The government has ordered an air
safety audit after a downgrade by US regulators hit its national
flag-carrier, a senior official said Wednesday.
The order follows an announcement
by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that it had
downgraded the country’s ratings from Category 1 to Category 2 to
reflect safety concerns. Twenty other countries were also
downgraded.
