BALANGA City, Bataan: Gov. Enrique “Tet’ Garcia on Tuesday
announced that it is all systems go for “Lakbay Pasasalamat,”
former President Joseph Estrada’s visit today.
The governor said everything is in place
including security and welcome preparations for Estrada’s
scheduled trip to Bataan.
The former chief executive arrives in
Dinalupihan at 8:30 a.m. where he will be met by Garcia, former
Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Chairman Felicito Payumo and town
Mayor Joel Payumo.
After a short program at the municipal hall
grounds, Estrada proceeds to the next town of Orani by motorcade
where Senate President Manuel Villar, First District Rep. Herminia
Roman and town Mayor Benjie Serrano will welcome him.
The Senate president will host lunch for Estrada
and his entourage at the Villar ancestral home in Barangay
Paking-Carbonero in Orani.
After a media briefing, Estrada proceeds to
Mariveles by helicopter, and is expected in Balanga City at 2 p.m.,
and later at the Bataan People’s Center.
