PBL contenders Toyota Balintawak Roadkings and Pharex
Medics will join the Mindanao-Visayas Basketball Association (MVBA)-Sinulog
Cup slated January 27 to 31 at the New Cebu Coliseum.
Toyota squad finished third in
the PBL V-GO Extreme Energy Drink Cup with Erwin Sta. Maria,

“We hope to have a stronger and
more consistent team in the next conference with this tournament,
especially with the return of Patrick Cabahug and Eugene Tan,”
Vanguardia said.
Coach Carlo Tan’s Medics, on
the other hand, reached the quarterfinals in its debut PBL season
with collegiate stars Ronnie Matias, Sean Co, Elmer Espiritu and
veteran Emer Oreta leading the pack.
The two PBL teams are up for a
showdown against defending champion M-Lhuiller Kwarta Padala-Cebu
City, seven-time CESAFI champion University of Visayas (UV) Green
