TRICOM Dynamics Inc., exclusive distributor
of TOSHIBA Notebook PCs in the Philippines, today announced that it
isboosting its notebook range with Intel's next generation
IntelCentrino Processor Technology, offering consumers high
performance andmultimedia in a mobile form factor. The three new
mobile Intel Core2 Duo processors T9300 (2.5GHz, 6MB L2 Cache),
T8300 (2.4GHz, 3MB L2Cache) and T8100 (2.1GHz, 3MB L2 Cache) will be
found in Toshiba'sPORTÉGÉ M600, Satellite M200 / A200, Satellite
Pro M200 series of notebook computers.
Built on the latest 45nm process
technology, the enhanced Intel Coremicroarchitecture delivers
increased instructions per clock for greaterperformance. It also
features the new Intel SSE4 instructions and Super Shuffle
Engine provide performance boost for multi-media, gaming andgraphics,
up to 6M L2 Cache, and higher levels of energy efficiency withDeep
Power Down Technology for great battery life. The new Intel mobile
processors are also lead-free and, starting this
year, halogen-free,making the processors more eco-friendly.
The processors provide the foundation to deliver improved content
andvideo capabilities with HD DVD support with an optional
third-party decoder. The notebooks also come
with the Mobile Intel 965 ExpressChipset and wireless networking
including the optional support for 802.11n networks with Intel
Next-Gen Wireless-N.
