SOME 96 riders bracketed in 15 teams will see action in the
130-kilometer Tour de Calatagan slated February 3.
Engr. Ricardo Toring, the president of the

potential riders.
“The event is dedicated to my father who was a
veteran of the Tour of Luzon,” said Ricardo, the son of the late
Basilio Toring who was a permanent fixture of the country’s annual
summer cycling competition. “The race will also serve as prelude
to the coming Padyak Pinoy.”

director while former Sprint King Manolito Moring is the chief
marshal of the Tour of Calatagan, which will be held in cooperation
with Mayor Sophia Palacio of Calatagan, Batangas Tourism Council

Calatagan chapter.
The race will start at the Calatagan town plaza
and will proceed to the coastal and scenic towns of Lian, Nasugbu,
Tuy, Balayan, Calaca, Lemery and Tagaytay City in Cavite then back
