More than cosmetic

The G-Shot promises to heighten a woman’s orgasm

By Rhea Catada, Contributor

“The Dream” by Pablo Picasso

In terms of sexual climax, women have great reason to envy men. Figuring out how to bring men to their peak is as idiot-friendly as operating an old jukebox: just insert, push and play.

Knowing how to bring a woman to her sexual zenith, on the other hand, is an altogether different thought process. As OB Gynecologist Abe Marinduque aptly puts it: “It’s like stepping into an airplane’s cockpit. It’s complicated figuring out all those buttons and levers to get the plane working.”

Dr. Marinduque explains that women’s sexual pleasure concerns three things: the mind (a woman’s mental state during intercourse), the clitoris (for minor orgasms), and the G-spot (for bigger orgasms).

Stimulating the mind and the clitoris is a no-brainer for most Filipino men. The clitoris is a button-like small protrusion located above the opening of the vagina and urethra at the upper end of lips of the labia. It is plainly visible and easy to find. As for the mind—that is where emotional sensitivity, selfless interest and imagination come to play. However, the satisfaction is incomparable when the G-spot as well as the clitoris and the mind are all stimulated.

“Pleasure taken from G-spot stimulation is often described by women as ‘explosive’ or ‘mind-blowing,’ which makes it really better [compared to the clitoris stimulation],” attests Dr. Marinduque.

The G-spot—short for Gräfenberg spot, named after the German gynecologist Ernst Gräfenberg who first hypothesized its existence in 1944—is located in the anterior vaginal wall two inches from the opening.

G-spot satisfaction is reliant on intercourse positions or on the girth of a man’s manhood. However, the g-spot can be made more prominent and therefore more easily stimulated.

The G-Spot Augmentation (G-Shot) is a simple, non-surgical procedure where a doctor increases the sensitivity of a woman’s G-spot through silicon injection.

Dr. Marinduque is pioneering the G-Shot procedure in the country through Beverly Hills 6750 Multi-Specialty Aesthetic Institute.

“That area of the woman is quite sensitive, so I use specially formulated collagen imported from the US to ensure safety,” explains Dr. Marinduque. “Before getting this shot, the patient should first find where her G-spot is. It’s best if she asks help from her partner.”

Once the patient is finally able to locate this spot, she then directs the doctor to it so the latter can then apply local anesthesia before giving the G-Shot. Since the pea-sized G-spot expands when stimulated by deep pressure, G-Shot works by increasing this area’s size via collagen injection.

The whole procedure—which costs around P40,000—takes only about 20 minutes. Forty-eight hours after the process, the patient can then start experiencing a dramatic change in her sex life that will last for four months.

“In a study done at the Laser Vaginal Institute of Los Angeles, California, 87-percent of those women who received the shot experienced enhanced sexual arousal, increased frequency and duration of orgasm, and heightened desire for sex,” shares the doctor.

His clients talk about how this procedure has improved their sex lives. While some would rave about how they’re experiencing multiple orgasms and prolonged sexual peaks, some would go on about how they are easily aroused even by basic activities, like driving on bumpy roads. The doctor himself attests that the G-Shot can change a sexually active woman’s life “in earth-shaking proportions.”

Dr. Marinduque stresses that regardless of whether women undergo the G-Shot, both women and their partners should explore and familiarize themselves with the woman’s erogenous zones and master pleasuring and satisfying a woman.
