TWO-TIME NBA champion Malik Rose of the New York Knicks, the
Sacramento Kings Dance Team and Rufus Lynx, the mascot of the
Charlotte Bobcats will host the grand finals of the NBA Madness from
July 10 to 13 at Glorietta.
Rose, a member of 1999 and 2003 champion San
Antonio, will conduct the Monmilk basketball clinic for kids and
play with fans.
The Sacramento Kings dancers will entertain the
crowd with their explosive and high-energy performances, while Rufus
Lynx will delight fans with his acrobatic antics, comical routines
and dunking skills.
As part of the DHL-NBA Trophy Tour, the Larry
O’Brien championship trophy will also be displayed during the
event presented by Coca-Cola and supported by Caltex, DHL, Monmilk,
Ayala Malls, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, adidas, Spalding, GLAMM and
media partners Basketball TV, the Philippine Star and Wave Radio
89.1.
Aside from the slam dunk contest, Coca-Cola
Shooting Stars, Caltex 2Ball, DHL Speed Challenge and Three-Point
shootout, the grand finals feature NBA Cares Special Olympics
Clinic, NBA Madness Corporate Challenge, Coca-Cola Dance Team
Audition and NBA Madness VIP Party.
Also part of the Mall Tour are TriNoma (June 13
to 15), Bonifacio High Street (June 20 to 22), Market Market (June
28 to 29) and Alabang Town Center (July 4 to 6).
