Some say that suburbia is the way to go. They choose to give up the
convenience of living in the city because suburbia’s sense of calm
makes it easier for families to make peace with a place and secure a
sense of safety in their homes. Parents think about the benefits of
open space, nature and quiet streets where it is safe and ideal to
teach kids how to ride a bike.
On the other hand, others might argue that
family life in an urban setting can actually be an enriching
experience, for both the parents and children. Despite the frenetic
pace and constant movement, no other setting can offer the variety
of cultural, social and retail offerings that living in the city can
provide.
