Palace, MILF reach deal

It appears that Malaysia’s opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim (center) is taking renewed attempts to discredit him, at best, laughable, as he leaves the anti-corruption agency headquarters in Putrajaya, outside Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday. Accused of sodomizing a male aide, Ibrahim was arrested outside his home, his lawyer said.

Parties agree on ancestral domain issue – Esperon

ZAMBOANGA CITY: Philippine peace negotiators and Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels reached an agreement late Wednesday on the issue of ancestral domain, a breakthrough in the seven-year-old peace talks aimed at putting an end to more than four decades of bloody fighting in southern Mindanao.

Philippine peace adviser Secretary Hermogenes Esperon Jr. said both panels agreed on the deal at the end of the meeting in Malaysia, which is brokering the negotiations.

SONA promises fulfilled

Inveterate haters of President Gloria Arroyo complain that she never fulfills her promises.

When asked to list all her unfulfilled promises, most will only be able to name one: Her vow, made on December 30, 2002, in her Rizal Day speech, not to seek the presidency in the 2004 election.

Transformer

This guy who claims bumming is his passion has a lot of work on his hands.
