Ardina wins third title in junior world
|
|
SAN DIEGO: Dottie Ardina captured a third title in the Callaway
Junior World championships after beating Alina Ching of Hawaii in a
sudden-death playoff for the girls’ 13 to 14 years division at the
Oak Glen course of the Sycuan Resort on Thursday (Friday in Manila)
here.
Ardina squandered a 7-stroke lead in regulation
play but took the crown when she 2-putted for par on the first extra
hole while Ching missed a short 3-footer and made bogey.
