The Asian Institute of Management (aim) is the venue
for the workshop on event management and personality enhancement to
be conducted by Temple University graduate Cynthia Bernabe and
partner Bing Pimentel.
Bernabe is the only Filipino
graduate of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management of
Temple University in Philadelphia. She has 20 years experience in
managing socials, corporate meetings, conferences, fund raising,
homecoming, launches, concerts and sport events. She will discuss
the principles of event management that include research, design,
planning, coordination and evaluation as well as safety and
security. She will also tackle trends and resources.
Her partner and friend from
Maryknoll days, Bing Pimentel, is a commercial and ramp model,
beauty queen and actress. She has been conducting workshops on
personality enhancement for 10 years and managing wedding, social
and corporate events for 17 years. Pimentel will illustrate the ways
of personality enhancement such as image, communication, power
dressing, social and business etiquette, protocol and ethics.
The workshop will be held on
September 12 and 13, 2008,from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the AIM on
Benavidez and Trasierra streets, Legaspi Village, Makati City. Fee
is P6,000 with course manual, lunch and snacks. Fee can be deposited
