BDO Rewards Program,
another first in banking

Once again, BDO proves its passion for innovation with BDO Rewards, a unique and exciting loyalty program in the banking industry. First introduced in 2005, BDO Rewards is now available to BDO’s loyal clients in over 600 branches from the combined network of BDO and EPCI. Its availability redefines the Philippine banking landscape and will definitely make banking a rewarding experience.

BDO Rewards is a proprietary loyalty program especially designed for BDO’s valued clients.

Unlike most rewards programs that cater to specific products, items or services, BDO Rewards addresses both a member’s financial and personal needs. First, the program rewards valued patrons for trusting BDO with all their banking needs. Then by partnering with SM and its affiliates, including Petron and other retail establishments, BDO is able to give its clients a wide array of perks and privileges beyond their financial needs. The BDO Rewards Program is now even more exciting with a new set of perks and privileges made available through its four-tier program—Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Diamond. This tier system is BDO’s way of recognizing a client’s level of business with the bank and its partners.

For all the features that it provides, BDO Rewards is easy to understand. Simply open a savings or checking account or apply for a BDO credit card. Members earn points for every qualified banking transaction at BDO which includes points for deposit balances for both peso and dollar savings and current accounts, loans, remittances, and credit card usage, among others. Members with existing cards also continue to earn rewards points until they receive their BDO Rewards card with the new look.

Each point corresponds to P1, which can be used to pay for purchases at SM Department Stores, SM Supermarkets and SM affiliates which are all shopping landmarks across the country.

“This is the beauty of a comprehensive rewards program,” said Sol Vivas, BDO first vice president and head of BDO Rewards. ”Our clients get rewarded by going through their daily activities.”

Definitely, BDO Rewards is all about nurturing relationships. ”This is our way of thanking all those who have stayed with us and inspired us to be the best we can be,” concluded Vivas.
