THE country’s leading luxury retailer and one of the world’s
largest banks have teamed up in a unique partnership to introduce a
plush credit card that offers the ultimate in privileged shopping.
With this tie-up between Rustan’s and Citibank
shopping has got more rewarding (and wickedly tempting!) as this
newest bit of desirable plastic—which comes in shades of Platinum
and Gold—is aimed at giving cardholders a shopping experience like
no other.
The new Citi Rustan’s Card is the country’s
first and only luxury shopping credit card that offers up to 3
percent rebate for all purchases made at Rustan’s Department
Store, Rustan’s Supermarket (Fresh and Express-lanes), and Stores
Specialists Inc (SSI).
On top of this great deal, card-holders can also
enjoy a 0.5 percent rebate on all other purchases plus unrivalled
preferential discounts, priority services, exclusive offers, and
special benefits at partner establishments.
According to Mark Jones, Citi Country Business

For her part SSI president Nedy Tantoco—in her
first official outing since also taking over as president of Rustan
Commercial Corporation—pointed out that Rustan’s continues a
long and proud tradition of putting its customers first, and
constantly finding new ways to delight them.
She added: “The Citi Rustan’s card will
certainly complete their shopping experience, and it gives us the
opportunity to further cement our relationship with our loyal and
valued shoppers.”
Anton Huang, executive vice president of SSI,
related that the Citi Rustan’s cardholder will enjoy exclusive
access to the many promotions that they line up year-round. “We
currently have over 60 international brands under our wing, and that
number will continue to grow. Each of these brands has something
unique to offer to the Filipino shopper, and we are happy to be able
to introduce each one of them to the Citi Rustan’s cardholder,
through private sales, exclusive promotions and special occasion
discounts.”

beauty, homemaking and more. Cardholders will also be treated to
priority shopping services, discounts on birthdays and
anniversaries, preferential discounts on partner restaurants and
salons, among others.
Cardholders who use their Citi Rustan’s Card
SSI establishments will be entitled to exclusive benefits and offers
throughout the year in its over 250 stores in major malls in Manila,
Cebu, Baguio and Davao.
At Rustan’s Fresh and Express-lanes, they can
enjoy discounts on wines and spirits, birthday treats, gifts for
special occasions, VIP access to exclusive events, free parking, and
a free glass of wine or appetizer at Le Gourmet.
Perhaps Nedy Tantoco expressed the alluring
nature of the new Citi Rustan’s Card best when she ended her
