Pugad Lawin adventure camp

Las Hacienda’s best getaway offering

Care for some adventure? Right at the outskirts of Metro Manila, Las Haciendas Communities is offering an escapade to bond the family, a group of friends, or a whole team of employees. Who could’ve thought the 342-hectare property flaunts an adventure camp that is sure to catch your breath?

A natural paradise and hidden sanctuary located in Laurel, Batangas, a few minutes away from metro Tagaytay and just a two-hour ride from Manila, Las Haciendas Evergreen Communities’ Pugad Lawin Adventure Camp offers an escapade to bond the family, group of friends, and even a whole bunch of employees to become great teams.

Resting at the foot of Tagaytay ridge and facing Taal Lake, this 342- hectare property is the masterwork of the top realty executives from different organizations who collaborated just a few years ago and realized their vision of creating waves in the real-estate industry. They develop state-of-the-art commercial and residential projects but also cater to everyone who are looking for a place to hold activities for the corporate world.

So if you think you and your team are experiencing conundrums and never-ending intrigues and piercing eyes at the office, tie and untie knots. Figure out change together without the yuppie look but with your sweat pants and working clothes. Break away from traditional four-walled team buildings and seminars to motivate your employees to face the maze of the corporate world.

Las Haciendas Project Director Manuel Tejada Jr. says: “We want to be known not only as the best resort in the country but also as the number one option for business and corporate functions or convention where you can do it leisurely. We are promoting the Haciendas’ adventure camp because we know that more companies nowadays, especially in the call center industry, are looking for a perfect place to hold their company gatherings and team-building seminars to strengthen ties between employee-employer relationship towards achieving a common end for the company.”

He adds that the rope challenges course in Pugad Lawin designed by experienced trainors for outdoor team-building programs is “a series of carefully designed, interactive events in which groups directly address the issues of leadership, teamwork, communication, outside-the-box thinking, diversity, risk, commitment, and much more; all in a safe, contained environment and all in a relatively brief time span.”

Participating groups and individuals in the adventure camp can enjoy several challenges like the Jordan Ladder, Takeshi’s Wall, Tarzan Swing, Chicken Walk, Mud Slide, Climbing wall and Zipline. As the challenges progress, each will learn to explore risk, identify leadership qualities, learn the value of communication, problem solving and coaching. Each type of challenge is intended to highlight a certain value, such as the Takeshi’s Wall for unity.

Pugad Lawin Adventure Camp is just one of the features of the Las Haciendas Evergreen Communities. The property boasts of five haciendas or communities unique from each other, namely—Hacienda Cascada, Lagos, Montana, Verde and Rio. Aside from the Pugad Lawin Adventure Camp, it also prides itself with a revolutionary convention center and a modern condotel named Casa Sonrisas.

To describe Las Haciendas in one word—is paradise. For it is blessed with natural amenities like waterfalls, pristine river, farming area, fruit-yielding trees, a thick vegetation and safe environment.

“It’s like living in a dream or in an ideal place where you only see in the books or movies once you are here at the Haciendas that you don’t want to go away for a second,” Tejada exclaims.
