Immigration migraine
On the morning of May 18, a
Sunday, 50 percent of the immigration service booths at the Ninoy
Aquino International Airport (NAIA) immigration area were empty. The
other half faced very long lines of travelers, Filipinos and
foreigners, waiting to be cleared for boarding. When I complained to
a BI employee, he suggested I talk to their supervisor. I did not
have the time, hence this letter to Commissioner Marcelino Libanan.
Where are your reforms and promise of faster service, Mr.
Commissioner?
