Opposition senator warns that President Arroyo’s
endorsement can doom Lakas’ winning chances

Some of the
politicians in the Lakas list of probable senatorial candidates for
2010 are “winnable” but they will all lose if they are endorsed
by President Gloria Arroyo, opposition Sen. Panfilo Lacson said
Tuesday.
He said that some in
the list bared by Speaker Prospero Nograles Jr. the other day have
the right and credibility to run for senator and could even win
“unless the President raises their hands.”
