Who will make it to the Circle of 10?

For eight years now, the Circle of 10 teen model search has been a successful launching pad for many aspiring models and celebrity-dreamers.

The search whose vision is to produce an annual batch of beautiful, talented artists has become a byword in the advertising and entertainment industry and its credibility has never been questioned. This year, a total of 44 official candidates will vie for 10 slots in the teen model search, the finals of which is scheduled on Sunday, June 8 at the Cinema 6 of SM North.

This week, founder and executive director Tom Adrales presented the official candidates to the media at the Formula Bar in Tomas Morato. The male finalists are—Cris Valdez, Ivan Barcelo, Laurence Bautista, Arjay Farcon, Carlo Lazerna, Jose Luis Benin, Patrick Alva, Zeus Rafer, Jay R Salud, Rommel Barretto, Ryan Banedick Anastacio, Takayuki Tamura, Raffy Sangko, Louie Calara, Ervin David, Daniel Edward Reyes, Jose Maria Alinel, Kim Carlo Larena, Marjo Guzman, Aldrich Darren and Islam Ashmawy.

The female finalists are—Justine Cajucom, Crystal Jane Alegre, Aliah Joy Tomie, Angelica Jane Yap, Ma. Luisa Decena, Camille Tarray, Krishna Sighn, Pia Diamante, Charmagne Burdette, Desirre Javier, Lysha Madel Lubi, Rica Araneta, Maria Carmina Garcia, Jill Frances Manuel, Karen Gallman, Gabrielle Cabrera, Claine Sarabia, Kirstine Estrella, Camille Ramos, Kristian Aubrey Nolasco, Analyn Navasero, Irish Ong and Macey Green.

“Our goal is to open the doors for newcomers who do not have the luxury of backers from big networks and talent agencies. If one or two of these young boys and girls make it big, then I guess we have achieved our goals, “ Adrales explains.

Official photographer for the competition is Edward de la Cuesta and the teens will be wearing the creations of Plantasy Boutique and Robert Zamora.
