Bayan, IPC forge IP Partnership

Leading telco provider Bayan Telecommunications Inc. (Bayan) enlists IP-Converge Data Center Inc. (IP-Converge) the IT&T subsidiary of publicly-listed IPVG Corp (PSE: IP) to provide 100mbps of additional bandwidth in order to accommodate the ever-increasing demands of their fast-growing customer base.

Bayan Vice-President for International Business and Carrier Markets Marvic Molina explained how IPC's Global Internet Access (GIA) services met their specific requirements to support the company's plans for growth.

"We see IP-Converge as a reliable and dependable partner who can help us maintain our high service level standards," says Molina. "IPC's strength is their diverse, robust and high-end IP network infrastructure that guarantees uptime even in the event of disaster."

A regional data center based in the Philippines, IP-Converge is an established managed service provider that offers server collocation, global internet access, network security and disaster recovery. It has internet data centers located in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Bayan is one of the Philippines' leading providers of major telecommunications services including Bayan Wireless Landline, the country's most preferred wireless landline service.

Bayan Telecommunications has transformed itself into a complete telecommunications services provider when they expanded their cache of offerings to include a wide range of data services including dedicated domestic and international leased lines, frame relay services, and Internet access for business and individual clients.
