The Philippine Basketball League is now accepting
applicants for its 2009 Rookie Draft tentatively set October.
Players who have not yet applied
previously to the draft may register at the PBL Commissioner’s
Office located at Unit 2302-A, West Tower, Philippine Stock Exchange
Building, Exchange Road in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, or by
accomplishing an online form.
Applicants must not be more than
26 years of age by November 1, 2008, and must have at least one
parent of Filipino descent.
Presence is not required at the
pre-draft camp or at the draft proper but it would help if
interested players could send press clippings or even videos along
with their application form.
This is especially true for
overseas and provincial applicants who have not had the benefit of
media exposure such as those given to the big college leagues in
Manila.

send the accomplished form to either berryearth75@yahoo.com or
bong_sacro@yahoo.com or fax it to 667-3006.
Deadline for application is on
September 30.
