TRS Ford Focus had a 1-2-3 finish in the third round of the Petron
Production Car category of the 2008 Petron Grand Prix Series held
recently at the Subic International Raceway inside the Subic Bay
Freeport in Zambales.
Stuart MacDonald, Dominic Samson and Mike Tuason
swept the podium with the debuting diesel-powered variant taking
third on its first outing.
It was completely different scenario in the
fourth round as the TRS drivers were involved in contact with other
cars that dropped them down the order.
Lory Uy in the Valvoline-Velocity Motors Honda
Civic took advantage of the chaos to grab the top spot. Her
brother-in-law Dominic Uy finished second while Mike Tuason steered
the Ford Focus TDi to third place.
