Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero
on Monday called for a political ceasefire and a stop to
finger-pointing while all sectors concentrate on search-and-rescue
operations for victims of the sinking of the “Princess of the
Stars.”
“There is a proper time for
political wranglings and for the punishment of those responsible for
the sea tragedy but the need of the moment is to focus on efforts to
find and rescue survivors,” he said.
