HK’s clothing industry goes green
|
|
HONG KONG: German and Japanese machines whir endlessly in one of
Hong Kong’s few remaining spinning mills as the droning sound of
raw US cotton being spun into thread for clothing made in China hums
24 hours a day.
The mill is one of only two remaining in the
city where more than 30 thrived just 20 years ago.

abated a bit in May, the continued monetary policy had little to do
with it. The overall scenario suggests more upward inflationary
