Ginobili and Parker lead
Spurs past resurgent Bucks

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin: Manu Ginobili scored 30 points and Tony Parker chipped in 26 markers to power the San Antonio Spurs to a nail-biting 96-94 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

Veteran Michael Finley added 11 points with all-star forward Tim Duncan held to seven points and nine rebounds for the Spurs, who improved to 18-4 against Eastern Conference teams in nailing their eighth consecutive victory.

Charlie Bell converted on a lay-up with 20 seconds remaining to push his team ahead at 94-93, but Ginobili quickly responded by sinking a 17-foot jumper with 13 seconds left to put the Spurs back in front.

The Argentina native Ginobili stole the ball from Bell on the next possession following a timeout, prompting the Bucks to foul Parker, who hit 1-of-2 free throws to seal the deal.

Michael Redd scored 25 points and Andrew Bogut added 17 and 15 rebounds in a losing effort for the Bucks, who saw their three-game home winning streak come to an end.
