Realtors bag
All-Flipino Cup title
|
|
THERE’S no denying the workhorses of Sta. Lucia Realtors of their
only second crown since joining the league in 1993, as they crushed
the Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants, 100-88, Sunday in game 7 of the
championship series of the 33rd Smart-PBA Philippine Cup before a
frenzied crowd at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Realtors, whose only title thus far was the
Governor’s Cup in 2001, showed enough guts and determination
in the times that mattered most and staged an 11-0 blast for a
commanding 90-80 2:44 minutes left in the game.
