BUKIDNON: Taiwan Dental Association (TDA) organized and sent a
medical team to provide free dental service to the Filipinos living
in Bukidnon in Mindanao. The medical team composed of 13 dentists
led by Dr. Hsin-Tsung Chen visited the Philippines from February 23
to 28.
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office assisted
in securing customs clearance of the team’s medical supplies.
Ambassador Hsin-Hsing Wu hosted a dinner for the two dental
societies of Taiwan and the Philippines to further strengthen
bilateral relations.
The TDA has made five previous dental missions
to the country, promising to continue the yearly activity. In
response, the Manila Dental Society has decided to organize a team
with more than 30 dentists to visit Taiwan this week, and to
establish a sisterhood relationship with the Taoyuan Dental
Association.
