TWO of the best collegiate volleyball powers from the South spice up
the action in the forthcoming 5th season of the Shakey’s V-League.
University of San Jose-Recolletos of Cebu and
University of St. La Salle Bacolod will join six other teams seeing
action in the 1st conference of the tournament which will start on
March 30 at The Arena in San Juan.
The move to bring in the two college teams from
the Visayas is in line with the mission to promote and develop the
sport of volleyball as perceived by the organizing Sports Vision and
Shakey’s when they first conceived the project five years ago.
