OLONGAPO City: Police authorities formed “Task Force Scarlet”
one day after ‘Viva Hot Babe Scarlet Garcia Bouffard and three
others were found dead inside their apartment in Barangay Gordon
Heights.
Olongapo City Police Director Abelardo
Villacorta told The Manila Times that he had formed the said task
force to look further into the angles surrounding the murder of
Bouffard and her three friends.
“We are looking into four possible angles, a
love triangle, a grudge against anyone of the four, robbery, or
murder committed by a syndicate,” Villacorta said.
Bouffard, 23, was found dead together with her
cousin Rachael Estacio, 20, Van Mark Bandejas, 20, and Bouffard’s
boy friend Jorge Vitug, 27, and they all had gunshot wounds in the
head.
“While we cannot yet say the exact illegal
activity, we are investigating the possibility that the murder is
related to a deal that went wrong involving a syndicate and one of
the victims,” he added.
Police also recovered inside the apartment a
uniform and an ID belonging to a certain SPO1 Eupoldo Vitug who is
the uncle of one of the victims.
Manila Times sources identified SPO1 Vitug as a
motor vehicle inspector of the Traffic Management Group based in
Camp Crame.
“Ginagamit ni Scarlet yung ID at yung uniform
para hindi siya masita o ginagawa niyang parang badge, pang
protection ba [Scarlet uses the ID and uniform for protection should
she run into some trouble with the authorities], “ the source
said.
Villacorta added that one of the victims whom he
refused to identify is allegedly involved in some car deal that went
wrong.
The victims were heard singing-along with a
videoke and having fun the night before the reported tragedy.
