Tamano undecided in running
for senator in 2010

United Opposition Spokesman Adel Tamano seems to be focused on his current job now, although former president Joseph “Erap” Estrada expressed belief that he can make it in the 2010 senatorial elections.

Tamano, a law graduate of Harvard University, said he was elated by the compliments given by the former president, but said he has not decided on running in the next elections.

“I’m happy and I feel honored for them to talk about my running in 2010,” Tamano told dzBB radio in an interview. “But really, I haven’t decided yet.”

The 37-year-old Tamano was reacting to reports saying that the opposition patriarch saw him following the footsteps of his father, himself a former senator, the late Senator Mamintal Tamano.
