Not just our two women presidents—Corazon
Aquino and Gloria Arroyo—have made a mark in the consciousness of
their peers and newspaper readers and TV audiences all over the
globe.
Sadly, the fame and fortune of our outstanding
women merely serve to hide the misery of the majority of our female
population.
WOMEN nowadays are no longer for display,
beauties only to be appreciated by men. They are now models of
courage, excellence, talent and accomplishment and they have learned
to insist that their rights are equal to those of men.
