Levi’s brings HIV/AIDS
awareness closer to students

It’s been 35 years since the fashion brand Levi’s first came to the Philippines. There’s no better way to celebrate than to give back to the community. Putting aside fashion and business, the company gave focus on educating the youth on one of the most important and prevalent social and health issues, HIV/AIDS.

The Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Curriculum is a four-module reference material that Levi’s donated to several universities all over the Philippines including Ateneo de Manila University, St. Paul’s College-Manila, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Philippine Christian University, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, San Beda College, University of the Philippines-Diliman, Philippine Women’s University in Manila and Quezon City, Philippine Women’s College-Davao, Eastern Visayas State University, Far Eastern University Institute of Nursing, and Cagayan de Oro Capital University.

This commitment to give back and make a difference is a legacy and continuous global effort of Levi Strauss that was even started by its founding father. In the Philippines, the brand highly prioritizes its corporate social responsibility to contribute a positive social change in its community with its yearly philanthropic projects especially those that will benefit the youth.
