NINETEEN colleges and universities vie for slots in the national
finals when the 2008 Nestea Beach Volley Luzon Elimination unfurls
on Tuesday at the Island Cove Hotel and Leisure Park in Cavite.
Leading the cast are former champions University
of Santo Tomas, Far Eastern University, Colegio de San Juan de
Letran, College of St. Benilde, Adamson University and University of
the Philippines-Diliman.
Other competing teams are De La Salle-Dasmariñas,
Lyceum of the Philippines, PATTS College of Aeronautics, St. Francis
of Assissi College, St. Jude College, St. Louis University, San
Beda-Alabang, San Beda College, University of Baguio, University of
the Cordilleras, University of Luzon, Philippine Christian
University, and University of Perpetual Help-DALTA.
Top three winning pairs in men and women’s
divisions will advance in the national finals slated April 24 to 26
in Boracay Island.
