holds Cuerpo ‘hostage’ |

All municipal transactions, including processing of
permits, are suspended

RODRIGUEZ, RIZAL: Normal operations at the
municipal hall has been disrupted for the second day due to the
ongoing standoff between the supporters of suspended Mayor Pedro
Cuerpo and the local police.
Cuerpo remained defiant since he entered the
Municipal hall on Monday, saying he only asserted his right to enter
the government building and his office.
