Autoplus Sportszentrium, the country’s authority in automotive
after-market tuning and exclusive distributors of Motul oil and
lubricants, provides local racing fans the opportunity to see up
close the Motul-Pitwork 350Z that competes in the Japan Grand
Touring Car Championship (JGTC). Brought specifically to the
country by Autoplus, the car will be displayed at the Manila
International Auto Show on a limited engagement basis only.
Developed by Nismo in 2001 as the Z33 GT
project, the research and development of the Z racecar actually came
first before the street version, and the car has turned out to be
one of the fastest race machines ever built. The Motul-Pitwork 350Z
is part of the high-tech Group C racecars that have become icons in
auto racing.
The JGTC version of the 350Z is an awesome
machine whose factory unibody hides the sophisticated electronic
controls, active suspension, electronically controlled transmission,
carbon composite body panels and a potent 495-horsepower, 3.0-liter
twin turbo VQ engine. When it debuted in the 2004 JGTC season, both
Z cars entered by Nismo won its debut race.
Powered by Motul oils and lubricants, the
Motul-Pitwork Z car uses Motul’s 300V Fully Synthetic oil which
boasts of the patented Double Ester technology. This advanced oil
technology ensures minimal friction and flow resistance during
high-rpm operation.
