Petron Corp. enhances oil
for four-stroke motorcycles

Petron Corp. has launched an enhanced formulation of its Sprint 4T motorcycle oil, incorporating a specially designed Thermal Control System (TCS) to meet the requirements of modern four-stroke motorcycles.

TCS was designed by Petron to act as an essential component in lubrication, with Sprint 4T oils being thermally stable and will not easily thin out even at elevated temperatures. It resists high levels of oxidation and also prevents the formation of engine deposits.

Sprint 4T multigrade motorcycle engine oils with TCS are available in three-variants. First is the Sprint 4T Extra that’s designed for daily use as its SAE 20W-40 API SE/JASO MA formulation is dedicated to ensuring stress-free performance.

Next is Sprint 4T Rider with its SAE 20W-40 API SF/JASO MA blend that’s proven to be dependable, while the third one is the Sprint 4T Enduro that’s designed for racing. The Enduro’s SAE 20W-50API SJ/JASO MA rating offers maximum performance and superior endurance for high-end racing machines.

Sprint 4T motorcycle oils were formulated to meet international standards especially that of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the organization that designates the viscosity grading system for oil. “W” means Winter, or that the oil meets viscosity requirements for cold weather; and the number 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 are the viscosity or weight of the oil (lower is thinner). Also, Sprint 4T meets the standards of the American Petroleum Institute and Japanese Automotive Standards Organization.
