D-Link International, one of the world's leading
suppliers of network products, unveils the DVG-5402SP and
DVG-G5402SP VoIP Station Gateways. Besides featuring VoIP technology
for cost effective Internet phone calls, these devices also feature
a 4-port Ethernet switch and integrated IEEE 802.11g Wireless LAN
(DVG-G5402SP) for convenient Internet access.

solutions for consumers looking to upgrade their existing analog
telephones, without having to completely move into the digital
realm. Both devices combine the best of both worlds – the latest
VoIP features with a secure high speed Internet link," said Mr

High performance
Besides a built-in router or IEEE 802.11g Wireless LAN for sharing
of a broadband line for Internet access, the DVG-5402SP and
DVG-G5402SP also features four Ethernet ports for connecting up to
four computers to create a high performance network. Both devices
also have Session Initiation Protocol support to ensure
compatibility with different VoIP services, while two Foreign
eXchange Station (FXS) ports provide easy and inexpensive upgrade
for existing telephone and fax equipment. A public switched
telephone network (PSTN) Life-Line phone port is also included which
allows users to plug a normal telephone line, should VoIP service
not be available.
Advanced call features and easy setup
Featuring advanced capabilities such as Quality of Service (QoS),
Voice Activity Detection and Echo Cancellation, VoIP call quality is
improved and assured. Using an integrated web-based management
interface, the DVG-5402SP and DVG-G5402SP can be easily configured
and a network can be set up in minutes
The DVG-5402SP and DVG-G5402SP will be available in the second
quarter of 2008.
