Music tripping on sand and surf

The Boracay weekend concert gigs

By Perry Gil S. Mallari Reporter

The music of Callalily, Pupil, Cueshe and Moonstar 88 blends with the sound of wind and surf of the island paradise of Boracay every weekend. This chain of gigs by Sony BMG kicked off on May 3 and will lasts until June 7.

The concert series marks the launch of the latest line of Sony Ericsson Walkman phones. The Sony Walkman revolutionized music listening in 1979 by allowing people to carry their choice of tunes with them on a medium called music cassette. Walkman through the years continues to be in the forefront of technological innovation as people’s way of storing and listening to music evolves. The very first Sony Ericsson Walkman branded mobile phone, the W800, was introduced in 2005.

Purchase of any of the latest Sony Ericsson Walkman phones (the W350i, W380i and W390i) until May 31 will give the buyer a chance to win a complete Bora Party Package that includes: South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) Adventure Passes for two (unlimited travel to any SEAIR destination within 45 days); a three-day, two-night stay with breakfast for two in lush resort village ONE MGM Boracay; and P25,000 pocket money. Complete contest details are available at participating Sony Ericsson dealers.
