THERE are no traitors in the
Arroyo Cabinet.
Thus spoke Justice Secretary Raul
Gonzalez following reports attributed to him that the impending
Cabinet revamp was meant to weed out “Judases” in the
President’s official family.
Gonzalez said all members of the
Cabinet are loyal to the Chief Executive and none deserved to be
called a ‘traitor’.
The justice chief admitted that
not everyone agrees all the time with Mrs. Arroyo, but stressed that
it does not mean that there were traitors among the President’s
men and women.
“That [disagreement] is simply
democracy in action,” Gonzalez added.” There are no members of
the Hyatt 10 here,” referring to former Cabinet members who bolted
out of Mrs. Arroyo’s Cabinet and later attacked her publicly.
