THE Red Bull Barakos gun for solo leadership against the Sta. Lucia
Realtors on Wednesday in the resumption of the 2008 PBA Fiesta
Conference at the Araneta Coliseum. The Barakos meet the Realtors at
4:50 p.m. It will be the first meeting between the two after their
semifinal showdown in the Philippine Cup last February.
A victory for the Barakos will send the Realtors
to a share of second place with idle Magnolia at 4-3.
Despite losing Larry Fonacier and Junthy
Valenzuela this conference, the Barakos has a reliable import in
Adam Parada, who leads in re-bounding with an average of 15.9 a game
and ranked No. 8 in scoring with 22 points.
Red Bull failed to keep its winning run after
losing to Magnolia, 102-95, in Lipa, Batangas on Saturday.
In the other game, Barangay Ginebra shoots for
its second straight win against Air21 at 7:20 p.m.
