Baka ikaw na ang next Fresh Confidence star,” a
nationwide, online search for Colgate Fresh Confidence with Cooling
Crystals’ next TV commercial model, launched its mall tour at the
Robinson’s Galleria in Pasig City recently.
Some 200 mall-goers were able to
record their entries to the contest via a recording booth set up in
the vicinity of the activity center. All videos recorded, said
official representatives, will soon be uploaded to the contest
website—www.colgatefreshconfidence.ph—as valid entries. To date,
there are 44 entries and over 350,000 cast votes.
A fashion show-cum-dance off was
held between dancers and Colgate Fresh Confidence with Cooling
Crystals’ current talent Lucky Mercado. Mercado was able to emerge
as the dance-off “victor,” as evidenced by the crowd’s
supportive cheering of his solo performance. Mercado was also
available to record contest entries with some aspiring stars.
The whole-day event was marked by
bigwigs from the Colgate-Palmolive group, who all lent their support
for the brand’s newest coup. Colgate-Palmolive gift packs were
given out to lucky raffle draw winners, and webcams to those who
recorded entries for the contest.
The winner of “Baka ikaw na ang
next Fresh Confidence star” will not only be the lead talent in
the next Colgate Fresh Confidence TV commercial, he or she will also
win a P100,000 tax-free cash prize.
Star aspirants only need to
experience the intense feeling of freshness after brushing with any
variant of Colgate Fresh Confidence with Cooling Crystals and
interpret their intense fresh feeling by making a music-video to
“Akin ka na lang” by Ichyworms. Entrants are then asked to log
on to and register at www.colgatefreshconfidence.ph, then upload the
final video for a fighting chance at instant stardom.
