1 of 2 Filipino families rates
self as ‘poor,’ says SWS

One of two Filipino families considers itself as poor, the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) 2008 first quarter survey found out.

The self-rated poverty figure of 50 percent in the latest poll conducted over March 28 to 31 is slightly higher than the 46-percent outcome in the previous SWS survey conducted in the last quarter of 2007.
