The Asian Institute of Management’s (AIM) international Board of
Governors recently gathered for their annual meeting at the pioneer
Asian graduate management school’s campus in Makati City.
AIM is pushing for the development of the Philippines as a unifying
hub for business education in Asia. In the foreground, facing the

The 26 governors who gathered for AIM’s 40th anniversary
celebration included leading Asia-Pacific business luminaries
Narayana Murthy, founder of global software giant Infosys
Technologies; Stan Shih, CEO and co-founder of the Acer Group, the
world’s top seller for PCs; David Newbigging, former CEO and
chairman of Hong Kong’s renowned Jardine Matheson Holdings Ltd.;
Malaysia’s Ahmad Sarji, chairman of several organizations such as
the Institute of Islamic Understanding and Permodalan Nasional
Berhad; Arifin Siregar, Indonesia’s former trade minister and Bank
Indonesia governor; and Yoon Dae Euh, co-chairman of South Korea’s
National Federation for Cooperation between University and Industry
and vice chairman of the National Economic Advisory Council.
