Cathedral Heights

An oasis within an oasis

Today’s urbanites seem to live by one code: Get Lost. Lose yourself in the work centers and play spots of the city. Then get lost in your own private space.

Now, there’s a place that specifically caters to just such a lifestyle and mindset. It’s a townhouse enclave, fully completed and ready for occupancy, set in new Manila, adjacent to St. Luke’s Medical Center. Those quickest on the uptake are now getting ready to stake out their own units – at Cathedral Heights.

The sunny architecture and handsome lines unmistakably state exclusivity. Modernity is also certainly an element of the Cathedral Heights air but it manages to blend in with its more dated surroundings. The whole development comes across less as a standout than as a very appropriate landmark for the area. It’s different, but simply belongs.

Cathedral Heights brings together all the conveniences and comforts that living in the city can offer. The place is near commercial establishments, business hubs, schools and institutions, so accessibility is definitely a plus factor here.

This convenient proximity however does not get in the way of effortless escape when urban attractions become distractions. Step into Cathedral Heights and you’re instantly in your own serene space, even as the city bustle goes on just outside its sheltered enclave. Suddenly you’re among palms around a resort-type pool. Duck under a bower of fronds and you’re in a lawn garden with its own gazebo. It reminds you that even those who work, study and play hard, need an oasis to retreat quickly to. It’s impeccably custom-made for urban haven-seekers, professionals, growing families or young couples.

Inside the units, Cathedral Heights’ architecture immediately invites comparison with other residence designs. A common townhouse layout of an equivalent unit of say, a 2-bedroom floor-space, can be taken in with a single sweep of the eye. From the front door, one’s view penetrates through the living area, dining and kitchen and perhaps a peep of the bedroom. Space efficiency achieved at the expense of integral privacy.

In contrast, Cathedral Heights’ split-level plan very sensibly segregates activity areas. The design recognizes that whatever you do at home should have its own place. A friendly dinner gathering will neither intrude into a bedroom nap nor into a living room chat. The sense of oasis comes into play again. More accurately, it’s a series of separate “life spaces” integrated into a very coordinated whole.

The multiple interiors thus created allow also much scope to imagination, desire or needs. Cathedral Heights units can be tailored to fit its occupant’s expression of individuality. The interior decorator in you can be as eclectic as you please. Or you can really get lost in the many levels of any theme or motif to your taste. There are many added touches of generous flexibility: 6-inch sound-containing walls for that cocooned privacy while wide casement windows and sliding doors complement an already roomy layout.

What Cathedral Heights offers is really a kind of two-step harmony: lose yourself in the urban scene then find yourself again in an oasis.

Fil-Estate’s Cathedral Heights is located at Sta. Ignacia St., New Manila. (For further information, please contact Ms. Grace Lacatan at (+632) 3820473) or visit www.cathedralheights.com.ph. )
