‘Batik & Cuisine … A Heritage of Indonesia’

Indonesian supermodels recently mesmerized high society as they seemingly descended from the heavens onto the Grand Ballroom of The Heritage Hotel Manila and glided afloat the catwalk garbed in majestic and alluring Kebaya and Batik haute couture of the famed Indonesian designer Adjie Notonegoro, as part of Indonesian cultural festivities aptly titled “Batik & Cuisine: A Heritage Of Indonesia”.

The celebration of Indonesia’s rich heritage through fashion and food is presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and The Heritage Hotel Manila led by H.E. Ambassador Irzan Tandjung and Mr. Eddie Yeo, General Manager, respectively.

Manila’s exclusive sneak peek to Mr. Notonegoro’s soon to be launched haute couture collection for the Fitriani brand in London, also served as a fitting prelude to the Indonesian Food Promotion at the Riviera Café for local buffet diners to experience the rich flavours and scents of the Spice Islands and get a chance to win one of the three Jakarta Holiday Package inclusive of 3 days, 2 nights stay at Millennium Sirih Jakarta and a Cebu Pacific Airlines round trip ticket.
