Air21 beats Red Bull

 
EGAY BILLONES scored a career-high 23 points, including four 3-pointers, as Air21 defeated Red Bull, 119-109, on Wednesday in the 2008 Fiesta Conference at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Express led 109-100 with 3:28 remaining in the fourth quarter when Mick Pennisi and Celino sank three triples to put Red Bull within 109-111, 1:27 left to play.

But Ranidel de Ocampo converted after a missed layup by Mexican import Adam Parada to give Air21 a 116-109 advantage.

Billones fired his fourth triple in the final 48.6 seconds as the Express joined the Bulls and Talk N’ Text in second place at 7-5, behind Coca-Cola (7-4).

Meanwhile, Solar Sports will be the seventh coveror of the PBA after signing a three-year deal where the league will receive P160 million in the first year, P168 million in the second and P170 million in the final year.
