KNOW before you swallow. This is
the advice of Sister Ma. Aida Velasquez, pointing out that many
Filipino foods contain gene-modified (GM) products.
These products range from infant
cereal to meat loaf, hotdog, corned beef, sausage, chicken nuggets,
liver spread, luncheon meat, soups and snacks, says Sister Aida,
coordinator of the environment advocacy group Lingkod Tao-Kalikasan.
