Nissan shows the Navara pickup’s sporting qualities
in a speed run
|
|

race,” said UMC Executive Vice President for Marketing Elizabeth
Lee. “First with an automatic transmission. First with a six-speed
manual. And now the first to be tested as a real sport-utility
truck,” she said, referring to the Navara’s lineage.

Not a few critics say that should the US government throw a lifeline
at Detroit, it is essentially tantamount to “rewarding decades of
mismanagement,” and that other struggling industries would just be
encouraged to demand similar dole-outs.
