Creamer rules Samsung World tilt
|
|
HALF MOON BAY, California: Paula Creamer kept her composure when it
counted, and came away with
a victory in the elite LPGA Samsung World
Championship.
Creamer drained a long birdie putt at the 15th
to regain the lead and held on for a one-stroke victory in the
$1-million tournament.
It was the fourth victory of the year and eighth
career for the 22-year-old Californian, who finished with a
3-under-par 69 for a 9-under total of 279.
