P183-B cuts in 2009 budget eyed |
|
THE minority bloc in the House of Representatives is determined
to recommend cuts to the proposed P1.415-trillion 2009 General
Appropriations Act at the plenary deliberations, House Minority
Leader
Rep. Ronaldo Zamora of San Juan said Wednesday.
In a press conference, Zamora reiterated the
minority wants a “lean, mean budget” for 2009, and initially
identified P183 billion in possible reductions.
