Armed Forces welcomes additional bounty

Sen. Gordon wants cash reward for the arrest of three Moro Islamic Liberation Front commanders increased

THE Armed forces of the Philippines (AFP) welcomes the plan of Sen.Richard Gordon to increase the bounty for the arrest of three renegade Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) commanders from P25 million to P70 million saying it would make the offer more attractive to people to get the commanders.

According to AFP Chief Alexander Yano, any additional amount is a welcome opportunity because it would be an additional attraction for those who would help arrest the commanders.
