rates |

Consumers’ October bill to include increase |
|

The electricity rates of giant
utility firm Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) increased because of
higher generation charges, and the adjustment will be reflected in
the October billing.
Meralco’s generation charge
went up to P4.73 per kilowatt-hour or an increase of P0.31 per
kilowatt-hour from September’s rate of P4.42 per kilowatt-hour.
